use BASH to invoke LY2DVI, BASH tells me that LY2DVI is an unknown command. How do I manually configure the search-paths for BASH ? Or is 1.4.10 not ment to run under CYGWIN ? Do I need to reinstall 1.4.9.uu1 ? Can some help me with this ? Thanks i

Clef-change spacing

Is there a way to reduce the amount of space a clef-change occupies ? In most piano music clef-changes are represented by smaller clefs than those at the start of a system. Can I select a smaller clef or can I manually push the clef back if there's space ? Thanks in advance, Bas Wa

Hello, A bit of theory here: '88va' doesn't mean 2 octaves higher, '15ma' does. The base note is 1, add 7 notes (white keys on the piano) and you get 8 (ottava=8a) and another 7 notes and you get 15 (quindecima=15ma) which is two octaves high

Installing Lilypond 1.4.12.jcn5 for Windows fails.

EFAULT /usr/bin$ Windows also tells me it can't find 'cygintl-1.dll'. Can anyone tell me what's wrong ? I had Lilypond 1.4.9.uu1 running and that worked fine. I deleted c:\cygwin and it's subdirectories and then ran 'setup.exe' and selected 'install'. (this w
