what has changed in the use of fonts --- for lyrics especially? I
mean in terms of the common ligatures: ff, fi, fl, etc. When I used

ghostscript-8.15.2-9.12 to ghostscript-8.70-6.
Since that time, lilypond no longer works for me in that
lilypond .ps files but no longer produces .pdf files.

The goal is to have a very simple way of creating mixed-duration chords.I do
not know of any way to do this in lilypond which does not involve different
voices.

between all system groups.
What I want is increasing just the distance between the lowest staff
line (resp. the Figured Bass line)
and the staff above. It works, but only if there is no Lyrics line
between the two staf
