Thanks for your help until now. I followed your suggestion. It does
work but creates other problems. See the attachment.
It is about African ritme music. Multple instruments are used which
will be repeated with a flexible length of the complete number.

When I render the following music on Lilypond, I get the staff on top, the
chords below the staff, and the lyrics below the chords. This is unexpected
behavior, as I wanted the chords above the staff (as indicated by the order of
the staff elements in \score). What am I missing in this

both ChordNames and Lyrics denote contexts which "live" outside a Staff.

There is always a failure as it is shown in the picture attached.

Dear Bertalan,
when I compile your circular-staff-code with LilyPond version 2.13.19
I get a "syntax error, unexpected STRING" for each line containing an
override-command. The compilation fails. Am I missing out on something?

within them concurrently.

This changed around 2.13.14. If you use \markup \left-align
\center-column it should work.
