Is there anyone who can explain to me how to remove
stems from the notes? I tried the
\override Stem#’transparant = ##t
command as is written in the Gregorian transcription
example.
Lylipond is fairly new to me, so I probably missed a
clue, still can somebody help me?

It is much easier to help you if you include a full example of what you
tried.
The command you quote looks OK, except that you need a space before the "#".
However, the problem might also be where in the file you put the command.
