Hi,
I don't know why that matters, but you can omit the line
\consists "Metronome_mark_engraver"
in the pianostaff \with block and put it in the \with block of the upper
("right") Staff.
That works for me.

I’d like to have tempos above the voice staff and above the piano part, so,
reading manuals and forums, it seems you have to remove them from score and
assign to single staves.
