Agreed… hence Schwitter's subtitle, "Sonata in primitive sounds". =)
However, when you hear/see what Schick and Yadegari have done with
it, there's a whole new level added on top of Schwitter's brillian

Heres a measure from the 2nd page of Ferneyhoughs "Bone Alphabet",
I just saw Steven Schick play this in July… blew my mind!
