Absolutely, or rather 13 at the beginning of the line which has only

I guess this could be a bit tricky to implement. I would probably use
bar numbering at every 5th or 10th bar instead in such situations,
see input/test/bar-number-every-fifth.ly.

I find that I don't get measure numbers unless the previous
line ends with a bar. Would it be too difficult to make the number
of the next bar to appear in such cases, except for the
beginning of the piece of course?
