Thanks for the detailed reply. I'm really pleased that both the
Cygwin and the native Windows version will be there, and I can see the

Bert, that's great news. Even if most of my problems have workarounds,
as Mat suggests, I'd rather continue to use Cygwin if possible.

I'm working on the cygwin version, actually it is building now, but
there may be problems, so I'm not sure I can upload it today. However,
when I success building lily without the documentation (because usually
building the doc has the most problems), I'll create an unofficial release.

If you search the mailing list archives (don't forget those for
lilypond-devel and user-lilypond) over the last 2-3 weeks, you will
notice that most of these issues have already been discussed and
"solved".

It works with with lilypond tool 0.2.8.
