Hi all,
I've encountered a problem when trying to modify the distance
between a FiguredBass line and a Staff which is placed above.
If there are Lyrics attached to the Voice placed in the upper staff,
setting a padding to the FiguredBass line has no effect.
Maybe I don't unt

Hello,
I work on lilypond to create a score of a baroque opera and I have some
problems with alignment in the figured bass.
First, when I've a chord figured "#" and after another figured "7 #",
and when I want tu use the bass figured extender, I don't managed to
have the figured in the right

I'm not using them for a particular piece but for educational purpose,
ie. exercises for the harmony class.

The current support for figured bass is fairly primitive.
However, one feature that's not described in the manual is
that you can also include any text strings by enclosing them
in double quotes, for example
<"+" 7>
Unfortunately, I don't see any good support for the +6, since

OK, I've found a very ugly workaround :

Hi,
I'd like to use a "+" sign for some figured bass. How can I do that ?
For exemple :
5 7 +6
+ 3
The "+" sign means that the leading note is in the chord.
I've tried <3 +6> but this adds to sharp next to the "3"
Yes, these symbols were commonly used, at least in late
baroque music. One main problem at the moment is that
we don't have any font symbols for these slashed numbers.
Last time I looked into it, I thought the layout of the
numeric font in Lilypond wasn't really well suited for this
purpose, bu

there is a little \ over the 6 (not /, my mistake).
Here is another scan, with the + symbol:

Hi,
Having recently upgraded to lilypond 1.5.68 (debian unstable package),
I was trying the figured bass context (which would be by the way very
usefull for me). I have a question: Is it possible to have plus sign,
like this:
4+
2
and an overstrike \ sign (as in the textscript #'(columns
