Don't understand why not. This works fine here:

didn't help (maybe a bug?). But I solved it with manual beams now as you
advised since it's just in 2 bars in the whole score.

You need to reset beamExceptions:

The automatic beam placing does not work, as I expect it. Please have a

This song is in 4/4. In bar 9 and 10 the beams are drawn over a half
group but I want the beams
