Many thanks for that. The pedant in me wishes to object that it wasn't really I who put the \partial anywhere other than the beginning of the piece - it was \unfoldRepeats that copied it for me. But I'm relieved to see that the use of Timing.measurePosition is the idiomatic work-around. I
