I have to confess that I have connected PC-s with printer cable (at least I
thought it was printer cable) long time ago, and I don't recall the exact
method, so you may well right.
I just checked Total Commander (do you know this software), which supports
this, and its help speaks about "Direct c
just an afterthought
could you check how much space is occupied by the files you downloaded so
far? isn't it possible that you accidentally clicked on "All @ Install",
instead of "All @ Default"? do you have enough empty space on the hard
drive? if error occurs again, I'd try downloading setup.exe
Total size of downloaded files is about 60 Megabytes. If you think that this
amount of data should arrive faster than 5 * 20 minutes (it really sounds

Both of the two mentioned can import and export musicXML with Recordare's
"Dolet" plugin (technically the transformer for Sibelius uses m
I also got that message before I installed Acrobat Reader Then the message
dissappeared, and everything was right: I clicked on the .ly file, and after
a couple of seconds Acrobat Reader stood up and opened the result pdf file.
