the lilypond directory of my MiKTeX, I had no problems

When I apply the command dvips -Ppdf -u+ec+mftrace.map
-u+lilypond.map on the output of lilypond-book 2.4.3
and latex some of my symbols get changed (e.g. the
symbol for rational numbers becomes an ordinary Q). Is

Thanks for your answer! By using the cygwin bash I was
at least able to process lilbook.tex. But still some
problems occured, e.g. when I wanted to view the .dvi
file the following message was shown:
Error: Cannot find PS header file
music-drawing-routines.ps.
...and the dvi file contained

Can somebody explain me (and I do not understand much
of Latex nor Lilypond - yet, hopefully), how I can
integrate lilypond code in my tex-documents? I process
lilypond files under WindowsXP just by doubleclicking
and get beside others a tex-file.
