Hello,
I just wanted to start with a new music sheet. I must admit that I haven't
worked with lilypond for a long time and I'm not an expert in music notation.
But I noticed an ugly output in the third measure. At first view, it is not
clear where the dot belongs to (it belongs to the fis). Now

Great! Now it works. Thanks a lot.

Forgot to say that the easy workaround for you is to use the

Yes, thanks a lot. Or I use the wired "--psfonts=".
Now it's the right time to say a big "thank yo

Hello,
I want to create a midi file from wasser.ly. But the resulting midi file
is too (?) small (319 bytes). I'm not sure if there is something wrong
with lilypond, or if I don't know how to create a MIDI file correctly
with lilypond or if the midi file is all right and I just can't play it.

Hi Georg,
Here is an example that demonstrates the problem. Commenting out the
linewidth in the *.ly-file only places the last systems the right way.
Yes, this is exactly true. Just to make it clear: I've no linewidth or
something in my .ly file but the resuling output

Hello,
I want to create a little booklet with some songs included. For some
reason, the paper size should be A4 (which will be resized later). I
include the ly-file(s) this way:

The funny thing is: after calling lilypond-book, the resulting

Hello,
after installing successfully lilypond-2.6.1 (thanks, Daniel) I run into
another problem. Running "lilypond-book --output=out file.tex" a second
time results in an error message, that the file should have been
overwritten, because it already exists. I was able to solve the problem

2. Remove the autopackage and build lilypond from source; it's not too
painful unless you need to build the documentation as well. There's an
