This mailing list is about Lilypond.
What happens if you run just
the lilypond executable?
In windows you can open a CMD.EXE window on
the folder and run lilypond on the file. If the executable is not in
your %PATH%, you will have to use the full path.
Alternately, you
should be able, in Ex

Hard to believe. Please document your claim with some cropped
screenshots.

I use something like^\markup{\finger "-1"} for sliding
fingerings.
Replace ^ with _ to go below rather than above.

This is ugly and unnecessary.
It also won't work if someone, rather than replying, originates a
new e-mail which is CC'd to you and the mailing list,
Maybe it's because you've put in a decrescendo, which is not followed
by any other dynamics to restore the volume!
Try adding, say, mf for
mezzo-forte after the decrescendo.

If LilyPond is doing something unexpected, always check

That's a dominant chord: 1-3-5-b7-9-11 degrees.

Hi all,
Firstly, I have a question. Is the \prallup ornament supposed to be
the same thing
as a Baroque style trill with termination?
That is to say, exemplified by a transformation like
{d4 \prallup c} -> {e32 d e d e d c d c4}.
The notation looks very similar.
Secondly, does anyone have a
