Hello all,
I'm typesetting horn parts to an oratorio.
(Pre-question: is there a mode where the key signature is not shown, but
all accidentals are printed? This seems to be the common way to write
horn parts, but I don't see how to do it in Lilypond except to
manipulate the key signatures mysel

Hello friends,
I just installed 2.1.15 on RedHat Linux v9, along with the updated guile
1.6.4-8 and the new geometry package for LaTeX.
While looking through the examples I noticed that the
Baerenreiter-Sarabande example is broken. In several measures the beams
are missing. This is true for th

To continue this line of thought: In my raggedright "coda", the time
signature is still 4/4, but no time signature should appear at the left
of the staff because the musician doesn't need to know that

Doable, except that I'm not familiar with any PDF reader under Windows,
Cygwin or Linux that will save the file as having been rotated.

Off-topic: Could we modify ps2pdf invocation or something to die more
gracefully with Adobe Acrobat Reader has the PDF file open?
I set orientation = "landscape" in the paper{} block. I get landscape
output
