Try a ChoirStaff instead of a GrandStaff. I know I've never had your
problem with ChoirStaff, and unless you really, really need the bar
lines running between staves for some reason, things will work a lot
better.

Not in any single place that I'm aware of; you have to put it together
piece by piece. (I think I found the various pieces in replies to the
mailing list

I looked at this last year some time. Unless something changed and I
missed it, the answer is, "No." It would be nice to have, but I don't
have the graphic designer skills to produce a good-looking glyph.

a manual that's helpful only to the people who originally wrote the
program. You deserve a lot of thanks for all your work in making sure

I'm not looking at triplets (or tuplets) here. I've got a piece

You're probably using accented or otherwise 8-bit ASCII characters in
markup text somewhere--lyrics, performance directions, title,
something like that.

If Qemu works under Leopard (I haven't upgraded yet), installing a
Linux distro in a virtual machine could be a workaround. Definitely a
sub-optimal one, but if lack of LilyPond is a serious trial, that will
solve it. (Or if you're already running Parallels or VMWare or
something else of the sort,
I'm happy to do nit-picky proofing--spelling, grammar, punctuation,
etc. At the moment, my LilyPond skill are a little rusty because I've
been busy about other things, so I don't think I'm up to doing
rewrites.
