hello list,
without delving into all the archived messages as far as I know there is
still no solution for the "grace bug", and in the manuals it is advised
to put corresponding spacer rests in every other voice, which can get
quite tedious.

thanks for pointing that out,
it might have raised some eyebrows if I'd delivered the score w
I have to apologize ... I looked over my code with the snippet again after
breakfast this morning, and I had one spacer note too many in my code (with
\global and \music in separate +.ily-files included into one layout.ly ...)
Now everything works just fine as you suggested, thanks again

hello Eluze,
your snippet works like a charm ... in itself, but when I apply it to my
files it messes up like this:

(taken from the alto part)
I'll dig into it later, for now I'll cheat my way around by importing the
page as a graphic file i

Thx

Using the QWERTY way (QWERTZ in German layout keyboard) does indeed work the
visual way in programs like MuseScore, and Sibelius 5.
Depending on the key signature, for example a keyboard stroke "d" gives
either "des "d" or "dis".

there's something odd in the Plugins/Lilypondtool/Block Menu:
{} , [] and () come out as <>, and
\( \) as << >>, and
\< \! becomes \> \!

hello all,
how can I apply an italic font-face to single words within a lyric context,
like
" ... I'm so lonesome boo boo boo I could cry ... "
