What usb keyboard to enter voices into lilypond? What other hardware and/or Software is indispensable?

This has not been asked for a while. Which equipment (low cost) do you favor? Do I need more than an usb keyboard? As I am / we all are working with opensource software, there isn't any need for fancy hardware. It only has to work. Thanks for sharing your situation. Bernhard -- spitzhalde9 D-7
