Hello All,
Thanks to those providing encouraging words regarding OLL.
As a result, I have registered openlilylib.space and I'll put up a
website dedicated to OLL shortly. I use the ,space TLD for all my
work, as openlilylib.org has not been released. Besides, I don't think

There is a file definitions.ily which allows the Smufl Bravura font to be used
with LilyPond, which useful for example for Helmholtz-Ellis accidentals. The

Hello fellow LilyPonders,
I was engraving a piece of chant in modern notation recently, and
discovered that none of the custodes will draw a ledger for middle C (C4)
or A5, notes beyond the 5-line staff. These notes do occur in chant and
polyphony.
Is there a workaround for this? Or have I missed

Hi Andrew,
thanks for taking over the OLL management. In the last few weeks I did
not have much time to follow the discussions on the list. Seems I've
missed something important...
I think OLL is a valuable tool that is definitely worth to be kept
alive. In the past, I have made some contributio

I agree with Kieren. A “Help” button in Frescobaldi that could show you
documentation about each feature would be great. I find it easier to just go
and search the LSR (which gives relevant results to what I’m trying to do, with
each snippet documented and exemplified), than trying to know what

I’m mostly with Damian here – I’m excited by your (Urs’ et al.) work, and I
always wanted to look at least into the notation fonts, but will probably never
need any of the more sophisticated functions.
My personal needs seldom go further than song and choir sheets, and so far I
rarely got custo
Hi again,
Of the many exciting developments discussed in Salzburg, one of the most
intriguing [to me] was the idea that OLL might be made into a “full-class
citizen of the ’Pond”.
Evidently, part of the problem of increasing uptake is the “difficulty” [always
a relative term!] of installing an

1. As someone
OLL is something that I have occasionally looked into, and something that I am
reassured to know is there: it is something that I hoped to use more in the
future. I do use notation-fonts. I have not used ScholarLy, Edition-engraver
and Analysis so far on occasions when, in hindsight, it would ha

Sorry for failing to realise how old the thread was before replying.

Hello,
The normal way to run Lilypond is to create a text file and then
