No worries. I'll keep working on it.
I couldn't get the syntax highlighting even when I moved the file to a
directory, in the runtime path, that other plugins load out of just fine.
Oddly, the syntax highlighting works if I source the lilypond.vim file from
within vim with the source command.
Hello folks,
In the following, from Poulenc, I added a CueVoice to help the bassonnist (i.e.
myself). The example is a bit long, sorry for that.
The critial point is on the second beat of the bar at the « 1 » rehearsal mark:
the clef change to « bass » for the bassoon takes effect also for the

Marc, that is perfect. Let me try and figure out how to adapt it to guitar

On Windows I like Notepad++ (https://notepad-plus-plus.org/). It doesn't
have a LilyPond syntax highlighter for it yet, but if there's interest, I
could write one.

at
/Applications/LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/share/lilypond/current/vim/syntax
(I'm running Mac OSX Snow Leopard) and it show up in the runtime path, but I
still do not get the highlighting. The permissions match

syntax highlighter at
/usr/local/lilypond/usr/share/lilypond/current/vim

In principle, I am a big fan of a combination of Vim, Tmux and Z shell for such
purposes, but I haven't been able to get the Lilypond syntax highlighting to
work in Vim. I followed the instructions here:
