Hi,
Im quite new to lilypond so my question can be irritating but I really couldn't
find any solution.
I would like to be able to print first a staff with many voices to be played
with piano and then from the same source (perhaps with little alteration) many
staffs with separate voices to be sung

With the function \extractNote of the snippet you have given (

Hi,
my problem is solved.
I had a \markup command in my song-ly file. The markup was placed on the
left hand of the staff which introduced the additional space on the left
page margin.
Thanks for your time and reading my posts,
Daniel.

Dear all,
Changing the value of line-width (which according to the documentation sets the
width of music systems), I noticed that the copyright notice changed position
too. See the example in the attachment: it left-aligns with the staves.
Is there a way to keep the copyright notice centred lik

Oops, sorry, you are right. Sorry for the sloppy wording.
Hi all,
I have two voice passages in music written out as chords, and since I
need separate beams (up and down), i'm in the process of converting
them manually to two separate voices:
8
becomes
<< { e8 f g a} \\ { c8 d e f } >>
Now I was wondering, is there a way I could do this in scheme? T

Shouldn't this example have the notes in the second bar beamed three

That would likely be a portamento slur.
