programming error: Going back in MIDI time

I just added a bar to the score I'm working on and got the above error. The PDF output looks fine. The error is due to a grace note in that bar, as if I remove the grace note the error disappears. However, I have identical grace notes in earlier bars that don't generate the same error. I tried
