It's much easier to answer these questions if you include a (small but
complete)
example that illustrates what you have done so far.

The PluginManager was not able to download/install the files.
Why?
I dont know. After playing around I found the Download Options. After I
changed the setting from "Plugin central default" to "SWITCH", plugins are
downloaded.
That would install dependencies like the Console, ErrorList, Templa

I've located problem . It looks like "FT_Sfnt_Table_Info" was added in
Freetype 2.1.10, and my Freetype version is 2.1.9. And Slackware installation
scripts doesn't check for versions.
The PluginManager was not able to download/install the files.
Why? That would install dependencies like the Console, ErrorList,
Templates plugin, now you must do it yourself, see
http://lilypondtool.organum.hu for the requirements.

You need to upgrade your version of Freetype to version 2.1.10 or newer.
By the way, doesn't the generic Linux package at www.lilypond.org work
in Slackware? As far as I know, it contains compatible versions of all the
necessary libraries and tools, so you shouldn't get these problems.

Hello.
I'm using lilypond 2.10.25 (downloaded from
http://www.johannes-schoepfer.de/lilypond/ ) on Slackware 11 linux.
I cannot process files that contain russian lyrics (utf-8 encoding) - lilypond

However, lilypond works fine with Englis

Bert,
thanks for your advise. I installed JRE and got LilypondTool running after

The default font used for fingerings is a special font designed for
LilyPond, which
is only available in one weight. If you compare to the default text font
(which
is what you obtain if you use c-"1"), you will see that the fingering
font is already
fairly bold-face. So, what you can do, is to c
Hallo,

Look for the text *feta* inside the svg file and manually replace all the
references to the feta font by Emmentaler (e.g where it says "feta-alphabet20",
write "Emmentaler").

Thanks for pointing out this typo! I have replaced "ChoirStaff" ->
"GrandStaff"
in the text, which probably is what the original author had in mind. I
don't think
it's necessary with a cross-reference.
