Alexander - Best proposal I've understood. If/when implemented I see only two continuing costs. The user must maintain selected multiple versions - seems reasonable. Developers must make stable versions available in perpetuity, but continuing support is not necessary - also seems reasonable. A

I'm using Lilypond 2.8.4 on Windows XP. I'm trying to optimize page turns in a double-sided printing scenario, and need to add blank pages in the PDF at appropriate locations. Is it possible to add a completely blank page (or a page that says "This page intentionally left blank") in Lilypond?

Hello, v2.8.5 I have a score where a line break naturally occurs (not via \break command) within a first \alternative ending. The alternative 1 bracket is not continuing onto the next line. (The second alternative bracket is ok but that one does not have a line break either.) Is this a bug?

Yes this will do. I was thinking I needed a separate grace notes leading into each individual note of the next chord but in the case of octave double stops I guess I dont, and one grace note slurred into both octave notes should be understandable to the player. However what if I did need a grace
