Why not look how the default staccatissimo script is defined in
scm/script.scm? Another method to find out what you did wrong is
to look in the list of available font symbols in the feta font,
which is included in Appendix C.4, The Feta font, in the manual.

Unfortunately, I don't know any good solution, at least
not if you want some automatic handling of numbering
the footnotes and getting them on the correct page.

memory serves correctly that you're using 2.7, see chapter 12 in the
manual for more details. There's also a template in section 3.8. I
