Hi,
How can you have a clef change where the new clef is written just in-front
of the bar line?
The following example illustrate the closest LilyPond seems to come to this.
Without the spacer rest,
Lilypond just prints the new clef before the bar line. However, there is
always a gap that wou
I downloaded jEdit, and that seems to work fine for UTF-8. From what I gathered, jEdit says that the Word files were saved in UTF-8Y, which puts a Byte Order Mark at the beginning of the file. I'm guessing that's why they didn't work with Lilypond.

Thanks for your answer! By using the cygwin bash I was

I am reading the documentation about how to this, but

Hi list,
Dumb question: How do you use an open parenthesis in lyrics? I'm using
"\lyricmode {" to begin my lyrics.
Thanks,

Can you double check that you are not using Cygwin's guile, that one
will not grok the windows/1.7 load path.

Use environment sitting LYEDITOR=jedit.

What is typinf? Have you added the bin directory to your PATH?
Hello list,
I have just used the intaller for the above package.
Double-clicking on a *.ly file works, also contex-menu.
But I'd like to use jEdit, how can I?
I cannot even use a Dos-box, typinf "lilypond" with or without
parameters produces nothing, not even an error message.
