Hello. I'm one of the many struggling with jazz chords.
I'm a tad confused because lilypond seems to mangle maj7 chords when
the base note of the chord is sharp:
g4:maj = gmaj7 or g (triangle)-good
gis4:maj = g#8 or g# maj7/8 ? or g#7 6135maj78 -- arrgh!
see attached example:

That was the magic bullet.

I'm pretty sure I did. I recall messages scrolling by complaining about
not finding fetaXX.mf files.

hi guys,
is there an easy way to print da capo/dal segno markings in the music? i
have the problem that i need to right justify them, so i'm hooking
text-markup to notes, and finding the right place to put it through
trial and error.
i play trombone in a marching band, and lots of our marching m
Hello,
After trying out Lilypond a long time ago I recently decided it was time to
try it again. I run a RH7.1 box so I downloaded the RPMs for RH7.1
(1.4-7). The RPMs installed without any problems. I then made a small
test. Lily digested it just fine but the music fonts did not appear. The

Yes it should, but it seems this new file has been forgotten
in the packaging descriptions. The attached patch should
hopefully solve this problem both for RPMs and Debian
pa
I upgraded to 1.14.13 but still have the same problem.
Does the RPM put the .el files into the site-lisp directory?

Which Lilypond version do you use?
In Lilypond 1.4.12, this file was unfortunately missing
in the distr
Hi,
Does anybody have any tips on getting the emacs mode working?
I currently get:
file mode specification error: (file-error "Cannot open load file"
"lilypond-indent")
