I'm an experienced Python developer with some additional background in
C# and C++ and would be really excited to contribute to LilyPond.
It's definitely hard to decide where to begin though, so I'm hoping you
can point me at the starting line!

I'm not the right person by any means to delegate any work, but I've been
lurking on the lilypond user list, and noticed they uncovered a serious
issue in Frescobaldi (implemented in Python) with an old Qt dependency that
has reached EOL, and is starting to cause serious issues. It seems fairly

developer documentation that it's implemented in PyQT4 which I figure has
issues or is depreciated by now.
