Thanks. I had to run mktextfm for cmbxti8, cmbxti14, cmcsc7, cmcsc12,
cmtt17, cmbx14, cmbx17, cmtt6, cmbxti5, cmti6, cmti5, cmss5, cmss6,
and cmss7, but then installation worked.

This is a font that should exist in your teTeX installation.
However, it may be that you have to force the creation of the
TFM file if you have never used this particular font before
on your system (they are normally generated on the fly whenever
needed, but I'm not sure if mftrace is smart enough
My "make" output ends with:
