Yes. The angle brackets in TeX Gyre Schola (which will eventually
become part of the LilyPond distribution and replace the New Century
Schoolbook fonts) are not too nice IMHO.

Recently James reported a problem compiling the tablature regression
tests containing angle brackets (entered with \harmonic). See the

The problem is that relatively few fonts contain the Unicode
charact
