Have you figured out how to do this yet?
It seems that many of us have modified the default configuration
of dvips and forgot that the default is to send the output directly
to the printer, not to save it to the file.

Try again from the beginning with lilypon
This is what is happening when i invoke the command:
dvips -h new.psfonts new.dvi
in the directory in which i have this files ( I used lilypond-book on the
example for version 2.6.0 of musicological document ( after i added
\usepackage{graphics} and compiled the result with latex:

Hello there!
I hope you guys can help me because my faith in Tex and Lilypond is starting
to fade away... I am a Bulgarian, so I first expirianced a lot of problems to
get cyrillic support in TeX and Lilypond. After this i spend few days trying
to combine Tex and Lilypond with the lilypond-book
