Sorry, I read "recompiled" when you actually said "reinstalled". The Cygwin installer should always give you a basic cygwin installation, so it makes sense if Lilyond doesn't have one explicitly. If you manually deselected every single package, the installer probably gets too confused. What you

Hello, I recently reinstalled Lilypond completely from scratch (yes, I do realize the complete and utter idiocy behind that choice) and the installing batch file (which occurs after setup unzips tarballs to C:\cygwin) results in this output (can't get anything more precise): dirname: not found ba
