This is a fix for the vanilla sources. I wanted to start learning and
possibly contribute, but the CVS checkout didn't build for me.
In fact, what I've done is just taken a couple lines from the fink
patched makefiles and put them in a conditional so they don't break
everyone else.

Also, when I do a 'cvs update' I get lily/input-file-results.cc as a
zero length file. The log says that the file has been removed. Is
this just me?
