Shouldn't that really be \octave #x since other commands are in English?

It seems that in the mf/ directory, several dependencies are missing. In
particular, the fonts are only rebuilt if e.g. feta11.mf is modified, but not
if any of the files included by it is modified. In particular, if you
modify/touch feta-banier.mf,
