Could everybody please remember to bump the VERSION number if you
add a regtest (or any .ly file, actually) that requires the next
version? If we don't do this, then we can't compile lilypond+docs
from git, due to version number errors.

Attached is a local.make that I use. You can use
get-local
to pull the sources. Doing
make -f lilypond.make linux-x86
will create the binary from local sources.
