I tried this, and also Jan suggestion, to copy the lilypond.map file
into the working directory, but still the same (although ksewhich now
sees the lilypond.map

find tells me:
$ find / -name lilypond.map -print
/usr/local/share/lilypond/2.2.6/dvips/lilypond.map
and ls:

If you can't get kpsewhich to find lilypond.map, you can always copy
it to your working directory...
