I reported this problem on June 3. It still exists on 2.5.30.
I got my lilypond-book problem down to a reasonable test file not
using wierd packages. There are two systems, and they're being placed
side by side rather than one above the other
If fondu (for macs) is here to stay, could we add it to ./configure ?

I upgraded this evening to 2.5.29, so these comments don't necessarily
apply to the 2.5.27 version I originally reported some issues with...
