Generally works for me on 10.4.1 (old PowerBook G4). ClickEdit seems
to be getting the textedit: URLs just fine.
lilypond.sh works as well, but if I try running LilyPond.app/Contents/
Resources/bin/lilypond I get the following dyld error:
dyld: Library not loaded: /Users/hanwen/src/maclily/B
A port of lilypond 2.6 (well, 2.5.27) is being worked on; it should be
ready
in a day or two.

It's a pity that there is no way of using TeX in markup as it used to be
a very easy way of getting unusual symbols into a score. For Instance I
have a metafont font that prints recorder fingerings and a set of macros
for accessing them (It could be adapted to other woodwind instruments).
