I've never seen an answer to this Mail. My LilyPond knowledge is not so

Here comes a patch against 1.5.41 that implements
the font installation structure I sketched in an
earlier email. The new structure is documented in
Documentation/misc/filestructure.
I haven't touched the Mandrake, Redhat, Suse or Debian
setup files.
