mount /boot 9p rw,dirsync,_netdev,relatime,trans=virtio,version=9p2000.L 0 0
The essential problem seems to be that opening a file with a mode of 0 is not
compatible with the "squash" 9p access mode. Is this expected?
Thank you,
Johan
Hi!
Thanks again, John, for these very helpful suggestions, especially the one with
the scsi subsystem. Yes, I'd like to permanently add a vhba to the guest.
I'll be back with more comments, just need to try things out first!

if this is the
case, that there is no multipath support. Better then to map the LUN's directly
to the host, and use the multipath devices for the guests.
If anyone else has opinions on this, or ideas that are better than mine, I
would very much like to hear them.

implement multipath on the guest
or on the host, and I don't know which I would prefer. Simplicity is always to
prefer, so if it is working fine on the host, I guess I'd prefer that.
Get back to you later...

Hi and thanks for your
target can/will provision more lun's to that initiator, how will that effect
the pool and the guest's access to new lun's? In this example the volume says
'unit:0:0:1', and I guess that will change if there will be more lun's in
there? Or is tha

hould I create a non persistent vhba, map a lun to it, and then source that
path, use the wwpn and wwnn from that vhba in the scsi pool creation???
That would make sense, but also be a bit complicated to use...
