I have been trying to build libtools, under Ubuntu 7.10, and I have
problems during compilation.
I tried several versions:
1.5.22, 1.5.24, 2.2.2, 2.2.6
with the same errors always.
Here are the messages received while trying to build libtool-2.2.6, but

(m4,autoconf, automake) and then install libtool-2.2.6a.
