I tried with the daily from
http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/libreoffice-4-0/Linux-x86_10-Release-Configuration/2013-01-07_14.50.57/
It doesn't work for me on Ubuntu 12.04 with parallel installation. The
settings isn't stored at all.

The source is [1]: I simply merged (copy-pasted) the individual RC's to
one page.
But I agree that the issue number doesn't refer to the correct issue and
we should ask the developer list (done) for better and more accurate
information.

Using Ubuntu Linux. I just changed from manual installation to
http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu . I'm not sure that the
problem was before.
Tomorrow I will check with my computer at work if it occurs consequent.
