-1 here too. I don't see it as a good idea, but then, unless I just
didn't notice, there haven't been any reasons given, which might make
a difference I suppose.
I do think fixing existing functionality would be much better spent
effort though.

This is unlikely to happen if the database engine was, for example, MySQL.

Agreed, on both counts.
Any thoughts on how extensive that export capability should be?

OK, my mistake, you've done the "EqualsAscii" (like you said! I must
learn to read better).
Same question I suppose, are you intending to do the rest of the
cleanup? I expect that's an even larger job :-z

Should I correct them, or is this in process?

I'm starting to work through these.
So far all the ones I've looked at don't fail on my Fedora 16 system.
They are 43277, 43277, 36087, and I've commented on them, is that
what's required? The last one I've marked as "resolved",
o do about this? Think about it and make a proposal?

There's nothing wrong with saying "very many of them" in this
context, it's perfectly acceptable English.

Something to do with Perl p'raps?
I've followed all the "How to build LO" instructions up to this
point, having cloned the repo then checked out the 3.5 branch.
This is under Fedora 16 (86_64).
