Hello,
To try to reproduce fdo#42612, I added the two last lines in my
autogen.lastrun (see end of the post) then I made a make clean && make
check today after a git pull update on master branch. I compiled OK in debug
mode with symbols.
I can connect to a local Mysql 5.1 database with "Connect
