In 5.5. GCC-4.8.2 - Pass 1, the book reads "mkdir -v ../binutils-build",
then in 5.9. Binutils-2.24 - Pass 2, the book reads "Create a separate
build directory again: mkdir -v ../binutils-build".
There is confusion about whether the binutils-build directory created in
pass 1
