i downloaded required packages,files into /xc/lib

here i will done

i done as you said
i ran make install-gpm in the BLFS bootscripts directory,
/see below one not creating
file
when i try to create following cat command 'in gpm extracted dir'
[means -bash-4.1#pw
hi all
i done lfs-6.7
now i moved to BLFS-svn
when i installing GPM-1.20.6
-bash-4.1#pwd
/sources/gpm-1.20.6
but when i try to configuring gpm
-bash-4.1#make install-gpm
result
no git avilable ,not updating version
make:***No rule to make target 'install-gpm'.stop
[i downloaded gpm from here :

in my system windows was there on -sda1,sda2-extended partition ,personal
data drive-sda5
i am doing lfs6.7(book)- on sda6,swap-sda7(i am using lfs-livecd)

/bin/bash --login
result is
chroot:cannot change root directory to: No such file directory
whats wrong what
first thing is in lfs6.7,@ 6.16. GCC-4.5.1
make -k check, giving errors
according to book(Test the results, but do not stop at errors:)
shall i move to furward
plz help me

1)after 5.32. Stripping
i exit from lfs usr
then
root[ ~ ]#chown -R root:root $LFS/tools
root[ ~ ]#echo $ LFS
result is /mn/lfs (this result be the till chapter 6.23)
2)but
6.4. Entering the Chroot Environment (page
BEFORE MOVING TO CHAPTER 6(LFS-6.7)
WHEN I CHECH 'echo $LFS
its not giving any result what the problem
in book

i am using lfs livex86-r2160 as host for building lfs book 6.7,
in lfs6.7 book the following msg was there
""The LFS LiveCD might not work on newer hardware configurations,

shall i use for lfslivecd as host or use
