Hi, I am strictly follow LFS instructions to my best, and i see
i686-pc-linux-gnu under my /tools directory
is it normal?

How can one find out what ALSA-project release
is used for the drivers in a specific Kernel version.
As a practical example, currently
ALSA-project: 1.0.19
BLFS-ALSA: 1.0.18
LFS-Kernel: 2.6.28.8
Which version ALSA drivers are actually used in, say, 2.6.28.8?

i am getting the following error when i am trying to make linux-api
headers 2.6.27.4 inside chroot envrionment. FYI, i am having the file
"as" inside the /tools/i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/as. i dont know how to
proceed. kindly help me in this issue.
