Hi,
Follow the instruction for installing mesa from cblfs. Use "make linux"
instead of "make linux-dri". Then cd to Mesa-6.5/src/glu/sgi and do "make
install".
OK.

I am unfotunately running into another one of the many lfs build problems.
I am on chapter 6.33 building Flex-2.5.33 and have followed the
book as precisely as possible but I get this error at the bottom:

Same Here, I am also using Xorg-7.1 without MESA. But you should compile
only the SGI's GLUT provided with MESA because NVIDIA does not provide GLu
libraries only gl and glx. GLu libraries are required for the programs such
as Freeglut.
If you do not compile it then certain programs which

One correction to that - I'd forgotten about l
