I did and nary a squeak. Though I was on an old classic Pentium system
without much of an I/O challenge.

This is an odd one for me, and I can't figure it out.
Machine is built from LFS 6.1.1, using gkrellm 2.2.9 and GTK 2.8.16.
Running gkrellm local on the machine in question shows the correct time.
However, running it across the network (even the loopback) shows the
time to be exactly one hour

You are in one of the directories or subdirectories (use pwd to find

you have a window from the host open in one of the directories.

Why can't I unmount /$LFS?
If you have another terminal open and are in
a dir on ${LFS} then it will be 'busy' and
you will get this error.
No, I do not have any other terminal open. Other ideas?

I'm building LFS 6.1.1 and I get the following messages when I issue 'umount -v
/$LFS' at the end:
umount: /mnt/lfs: device is busy
umount: /mnt/lfs: device is busy
Here are the command that I execute at that point:

I run LFS-6.1.1 , upgraded to kernel-2.6.16.27 and udev-071 . Can I
upgrade to udev-096 using the LFS-6.2 instructions or will it break
horribly? I should disable hotplug as well, right?
